Introduction

Nyeras (“Nyeras”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates an educational learning management system (LMS) available through our website at techvedhuacademy.in and the Android mobile application Nyeras (package name com.techvedhu.student). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and your choices—including how to request deletion of your account and associated data.

By creating an account or using our services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Information we collect

We collect information necessary to provide educational services, secure your account, and improve the learning experience. The categories below apply to both the website and the mobile app unless noted otherwise.

Account data

When you register or are enrolled by your institution, we may collect:

  • Full name
  • Email address (required for sign-in and service communications)
  • Phone number (optional, when you or your institution provides it)
  • Account credentials (passwords are stored in hashed form; we do not store plain-text passwords)
  • Profile information you choose to provide (for example headline, bio, or avatar)
  • Role and institute association (for example student, instructor, or administrator)

Educational data

As you use courses and learning features, we collect educational records including:

  • Course enrollments and program participation
  • Lesson progress, watch time, and completion status
  • Quiz and assessment attempts, scores, and feedback
  • Assignment submissions, grades, and instructor comments
  • Notes, Q&A posts, course reviews, and support messages you send through the platform
  • Certificates or completion records where your program or institution issues them through the LMS

Technical data

When you access our services, we automatically collect certain technical information, including:

  • Internet Protocol (IP) address
  • Browser type, operating system, and device type (from user-agent or app requests)
  • App version and general device characteristics needed to deliver and secure the service
  • Session identifiers and authentication tokens (on mobile, tokens are stored using secure device storage)
  • Server and application error or diagnostic logs (for example failed API requests, timestamps, and error codes) to maintain reliability and investigate issues

We do not use your data for third-party advertising. We do not sell personal information. We do not collect advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID) for ad targeting. If we introduce optional push notifications in the future, we may collect a device token solely to deliver those notifications; we will update this policy before doing so.

How we use your data

We use the information described above to:

  • Deliver educational content, live or recorded materials, and course features you access
  • Track and display your learning progress, streaks, and assessment results
  • Authenticate you and keep your account secure
  • Enable instructors and administrators to manage programs, grading, and support
  • Process enrollments and, where enabled, paid course purchases through our payment partners
  • Respond to support requests and improve the user interface and overall experience
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms of use

Third-party services

We use trusted third-party providers to operate the platform. They process data only as needed to perform services on our behalf:

  • Hosting and infrastructure (for example cloud API and database hosting) to run the LMS backend and store application data
  • Content delivery and file storage (for example media and assignment uploads) so lessons and files can be streamed or reviewed securely
  • Email services for account-related or transactional messages, when configured
  • Payment processors—including Razorpayand similar secure payment gateways when you purchase paid courses or services. Payment card numbers, CVV, and full card details are entered and processed on the payment provider's systems. We do not store raw credit or debit card numbers on our servers. We may retain transaction references (such as payment status, amount, and order identifiers) needed for enrollment, refunds, and accounting.

Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how it handles information. We encourage you to review Razorpay's policy when you complete a payment.

Data security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect student and user data, including:

  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for data sent between your browser or app and our servers
  • Access controls limiting who within our organization can access production systems
  • Hashed passwords and secure storage of session tokens on mobile devices

No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. Please contact us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the LMS, maintain academic and business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal or regulatory requirements. Some educational records may need to be kept after account closure where required by your institution or applicable law.

Your rights and account data deletion

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can update certain profile fields directly in the web portal or mobile app where those settings are available.

Request account deletion

Email support@techvedhu.com with subject line Account and data deletion request. Include:

  • The email address registered on your account
  • Your full name as shown on your profile
  • A clear statement that you want your account and personal data deleted

We verify your identity before processing. Verified requests are typically completed within 30 days, unless law requires longer retention for academic or compliance records.

Children and educational institutions

Our platform may be used by learners enrolled through schools, colleges, or training programs, including minors under institutional or parental consent arrangements. If you believe we have collected a child's information outside an appropriate educational context, contact us at support@techvedhu.com and we will take appropriate steps.

International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our hosting or service providers operate. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date above. Your continued use of Nyeras after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
